Intel on Tuesday has released its 10 Generation core 10 nm Ice Lake CPUs. Also Intel Revealed details about “Project Athena”. And few Highlights are here:

How much Faster?

The Ice Lake Performance if we consider is 18% faster then previous ones and in especially if we compare with sky Lake which was introduced 4 years Ago
Performance

If we talk about Performance and if we look Single thread has also shot up with the new Sunnycove cores — but now here we’re comparing against the nearly-five-years-ago Broadwell.
What actually impressive is boost in graphics horsepower of Ice Lake , where Intel says it’s nearly doubled the performance of its previous 15W parts now that its Gen11 integrated graphics have 1.12 teraflops of FP32 compute power at their disposal. But still thatwon’t necessarily translate into smooth 1080p gaming, as you can see in this chart:

Courtesy IntelIf we look on the plus side, this is a 15W processor doing integrated graphics work that you would have needed a thicker laptop with a 28W processor to do before. So we can see laptop more slimer.
Other Intel Claims
2x faster HEVC encoding to spit out faster, higher quality video at lower file sizes, or 2.5x the “AI performance” for machine learning tasks like image recognition. (Ice Lake can be that much faster at searching for specific kinds of photos in your Microsoft Photos library, for instance.) Intel says that reducing complexity of Thunderbolt 3 in particular has been shown to save up to 300mW of power.

In the case of Thunderbolt 3, they’ll need to buy and integrate retimers chips from Intel, and Thunderbolt 3 accessory makers will still need to buy the regular controllers for those; in the case of Wi-Fi 6, there’s a new, smaller companion radio module that manufacturers can buy (like the 802.11ac CNVi companions for 9th Gen Core) but they need still need sperate module to work :
